
Policies
General Policy:
All transactions between clients and Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) are NON-REFUNDABLE. This includes deposits, balance’s due, late fees and/or any other nominal charges associated with Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders).
Clients must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
All clients are required to sign a waiver consent form upon arrival and are required to provide valid and up-to-date state-issued identification before tattoo session takes place. Client’s government information will remain classified between client and Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) and will be used for legal, liability and consent purposes only.
Deposit policy:
A deposit solidifies the date and time of appointment and is required for all booking of tattoo sessions. Please understand that a deposit only books a specific date and time. In certain instances, should your appointment get cancelled, client may have to submit a new deposit to book another date and time (see late policy and postponement/cancellation policy for more info). It also begins the process of sketching and designing of concepts. No processes of tattooing move forward without the payment of a down deposit before your arrival of agreed date and time. Please refer to (Pricing) to see pricing for deposits and sketching. It is also heavily advised that the client book their tattoo session within 30 days of payed down deposit.
Pricing:
Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) follows a two part pricing system for tattoo concepts.
Deposit Pricing:

Standard Deposits are a flat-based fee of $100 to book appointment time and date and begin standard sketching and design process.

Sketch and design deposits are $50 with 2 rounds of revisions. Client is given a preliminary sketch of the design and if approved, client will be required to pay remaining deposit balance of $50 to book a time and date appointment. This deposit is only allowed at the discretion of Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders).
Flat based pricing: client’s are given a flat based price for a tattoo concept that is agreed upon before tattoo session by both client and Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders). Hourly rate is non-applicable for this pricing system.
Time Range pricing: client is given an estimated range based upon the hourly rate of $100 an hour. Pricing for concept starts at $100. Half hour cut-offs will be charged at $50 and quarter hour cut-offs will be charged at $25. Middle intermediate cut offs between the half and quarter hour will be rounded up or down to the nearest quarter or half hour. A timer will be used for this system of pricing and will begin at first needle-to-skin contact. Client may use their personal timer as well to check and balance the integrity of Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders). This system of pricing is reserved for larger tattoo concepts and/or concepts that will require multiple sessions.
Touch up policy:
Should a touch up be determined to be necessary due to any fault by Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders), a touch up session will be free of charge. Should a touch up be determined to be necessary due to the fault of the client, touch ups will be charged at half of the normal hourly rate at $50 an hour. Such faults from a client include, lack of proper attention to the aftercare of the tattoo and/or overall neglect of total care of the tattoo and its process of healing.
Late policy:
Clients are allotted a 15 minute grace period if running late, afterwards the session is subject to a late fee. It is important that the Client clearly and adamantly communicates with Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) if they are running late, need to postpone or cancel their appointment at least 30 minutes before tattoo session. If there is no clear and fervent communication between client and Raphaengelo Ink when client is late, client will be charged a late fee of $25 for every 15 minutes late after the 15 minute grace period. Late fees and balance due will then be required to be payed fully before the tattoo session begins. After 30 minutes of tardiness without clear and adamant communication with Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders), the clients’s tattoo session will be cancelled. To re-book, client will have to go through the entire booking and deposit process again with a new deposit required for a new appointment.
Postponement/rescheduling policy:
If a client needs to postpone or reschedule their appointment at any point in time prior to 24 hours before their appointment, they must notify Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) 24 hours in advance. Without proper notice, appointment may be cancelled at the discretion of Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders). Clients are allotted 1 postponement/reschedule per deposit paid and the new appointment must be within 30 days of the of the original appointment date. Exceptions to this policy include pregnancy, sudden medical happenings (recent accidents and/or injuries), long term illness (mental and/or physical) or recent death in the family.

Tattoo Placement Change Policy:
The formal process of booking a tattoo with Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) includes the discussion of the desired tattoo concept, the placement, date and time of the appointment. Should the client wish to change the placement of their desired tattoo concept, they must notify Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) 24 hours prior to their booked time and date appointment. ALL placement changes are subject to a price readjustment.

Accompanying Guest Policy:
All clients of Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) are welcome to bring up to a maximum of 2 guests to accompany them at their tattoo appointment. However, those accompanying guest must wait in the lobby/waiting area of the shop. Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) reserves the right and priviledge to be one-on-one with the client within the tattooing space and to exercise discretion on who can enter into the tattooing space. Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) also reserves the right to postpone and/or cancel the appointment of any client and/or guest that fail to adhere to this policy.
Refusal/cancellation of service:
Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) reserves the right to refuse and/or cancel appointments contingent upon excessive tardiness (refer to late policy), rude, disrespectful and/or disruptive behavior conducive to a professional workplace. Also inappropriate, harmful and/or offensive clothing, racist/hate speech, actions and gestures (revealing of private or sexual parts of body, sexually suggestive actions or gestures) and actions similar in nature are subject to service refusal and/or cancellation.
Alcohol and other drug consumption are non-permitted 24 hours prior and during the process of a tattooing session. Should any active member of Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) suspect that a client has or is consuming alcohol and/or any other harmful drugs 24 hours prior too or during a tattoo session, Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) reserves the right to refuse and/or cancel the session with no refund given.
Lastly, Clients are expected to arrive fresh, clean and display themselves in a decent hygienic manner. Any occurrences of a client’s hygiene that are deemed unbearable will be subject to that particular tattoo session being postponed or even cancelled at the discretion of Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders). Such occurrences may include, for example, strong and unpleasant bodily and/or oral odors, dirt and grime in the area that is to be tattooed, and/or any releasing of bodily gases or fluids in the presence of the tattoo artist.

Tap Out Policy:
Tapping out is defined as the client not being able to finish/complete their tattoo within the designated time or overall completion of tattoo for their own reasoning. Should any client feel the need to tap out of an ongoing tattoo session for their own reasoning (medical, personal etc.), the client is still required to pay in full all monies owed for that current session.

Red Ink Policy:

Please be advised that red ink of any brand, on occasion, has a tendency to have complications in the healing process. Reasons for this are currently unknown and are still being researched, nonetheless, for clientele that desire tattoos using all red ink, are now aware to all possible negative effects. Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) will not be responsible or liable for any scarring, discoloration and any other negative effects associated with red ink tattoos.
Numbing cream policy:
The use of tattoo numbing cream is not a necessity in the process and execution of tattooing. However, Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) does provide a tattoo numbing product at the request of the client. There is a nominal charge of $75 added to the balance due to compensate for the amount of time necessary for the product to activate (60 minutes). Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) upholds honesty and integrity to only use tattoo numbing cream products that are top-rated, highly recommended amongst tattoo professionals and are FDA approved. However, Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) will not be liable for any adverse effects to the skin or tattoo that the tattoo numbing cream could possibly cause due to every client’s unique genetics. Raphaengelo Ink will only use tattoo numbing products provided by Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) and will not allow customers to bring nor use any outside products. Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) reserves the right to refuse, postpone and/or cancel a client’s tattoo session for the use of outside products and/or chemicals on designated area of skin to be tattooed before or during tattoo session.

Buy Now Pay Later Policy:

All clients who use the Buy Now Pay Later option (Klarna, AfterPay etc.) must only do so as instructed by Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders). All transactions including the Buy Now Pay Later options are final sale and non-refundable. Clients who use the Buy Now Pay later options must make their down payment through any of the Buy Now Pay later aggregates (which will also constitute as their down deposit) and show verification of purchase to Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders). Once purchase has been confirmed and monies have been received, the date and time appointment shall be scheduled immediately afterwards. Clients will be required to sign a special document in addition to the waiver form regarding the Buy Now Pay Later details outlined in this policy. Clients are prohibited from disputing any charges through any of the Buy Now Pay Later aggregates under any circumstances unless advised to do so under the discretion of Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders). Any client who disputes any charges through the Buy Now Pay later aggregates against the discretion of Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders), will be permanently barred from all services of Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders) and may be subjected to a course of legal action taken upon by Raphaengelo Ink (including but not limited to all associates, agents, representatives and/or shareholders).
Any other salient policies that have not been stated above but are deemed necessary for clients to be knowledgeable of, will be outlined in the waiver consent form clients are required to fill out before a tattoo session is to take place.
